Summary: Problem with Unicode characters

Details: Unicode characters, e.g. "?" and "?" doesn't appear properly inside the topic map and in property panel input fields (however, in "Text Editor" fields, e.g. "Description", they appear correctly).

This error applies to MySQL 4 and 5, but not to HSQL.
